The Pyranees came in clear view today, and in fact we have stopped in the foothills. There were some good mountain views, and an old dam, but I was driving
Handily, there is a pool just next to us, though we also have clouds.
It was cool watching eagles circling in the updrafts. Jude watched one swooping by the pool, but I was looking the other way. I counted 20+. Later a couple hawks/kites/raptors showed up.
Thank goodness everything is a touch cooler, particularly at night. Last night even tipped over to cold! We'll probably cross the border tomorrow, taking a route between the coast and Andorra.
