That's a bit steep

4.30am the party stopped. Urgh.

We had to back track a little to Rocamadour, which is apparently the second most visited tourist site in, what, France? (I find that hard to believe as there were no bus loads of people like Mont Saint Michel. But see video.)

It was another scorcher. News said there were three record high days last week for average world temperature. Antarctic at 8 deg, Spain at 40, here at 34.

Anyway, the town's claim to fame is being built into a cliff. Not quite the troglodyte style of Spain, but partly so.

216 steps to the sanctuary, in 34 degrees. Madness.

One lift and a cablecar sure beats climbing in this heat.

Note Jude's new hat, as she lost her previous one at the swimming pools.
