Murals to beaches

Naestved's claim to fame, it would seem, is a series of murals on various buildings. Actually it is a nice enough town in its own right so that you might stay a day or two. We ignored the confusing parking signs and wandered around to see some of the paintings.

This one's just graffiti but what's the difference?

As I said, there's more to Naestved than the murals. There were sculptures, a lovely church and a nice central precinct.

The weathering had produced some cool colouring on this statue

This was one of the most magnificent altarpieces I've seen. Wooden, and taking 10 years to carve

We moved onto Koge, which seems to be pronounced Cooya, thinking that we'd train into Copenhagen. The site was on a beach access road through a nature reserve.

J has a quick piddle paddle in the Koge Bugt

The combination of estuary and nature reserve meant we got a noisy (geese), smelly, and bitey night. I hate midges/mosquitoes!
