Coastal rollers

The towns around the south coast were supposed to be quite nice so we visited a few - Faaborg and Svendborg in particular.

J is useless at hide-and-seek

We went in the back door of this museum not realising we were supposed to pay. By the time we left they were closing so never asked us for money. I feel so naughty.

Beds were in these closets. Very cosy.

Hair must have been pretty messy in the olden days

These multi-level fireplaces were all the rage in 18th C Denmark it seems.

An art thing. Strangely the original (the tiny picture on the white plaque) was in portrait mode while they mounted the frame in landscape. You could never line it up the same, which was the whole point

This was in Svendborg, another nice port town

Our camp was on Taasinge, a smaller island to the south of Fyn. The owner was an out of work robot engineer / salesman. Ironic since if he sells any they'll put others out of work.

We had two milestones during the day.

3000 km

And J's lovingly tended orchid has blossomed

Showerometer: 15 - no hot water left!
