Reggie ailments

All that time in storage meant we wouldn't get off Scot free for maintenance, though we have been surprisingly lucky I think.

The other day we found coolant under him, so the old leak in the radiator pipe may be back.

The temperature guage flicks between apparently overheating and cool,  but we think it is the guage itself playing up.

Our door lock has worn, so every now and then it refuses to do its job, sparking lots of swearing and necessitating the stripping of the door. If Q were here he would draw a replacement part for 3-d printing and voila, in 15 years we still wouldn't have one.

The plastic on various panels is very brittle, and I suspect a small side-hustle could be made of vac-forming replacements. Maybe if we ever get it back to NZ...?

And then there's our diesel consumption... We got 560km on tank 1, then it plummeted to around 350 for tanks 2 and 3. I think there was some dirt or algae in the tank that got unsettled. We dropped in some cleaning additive and so far on this tank we've already done 386, heading for 500 again, so that's a good sign!

Other than various rattles and whines that's about it. Could be a lot worse.

What, Reggie didn't come with a 3d printer? - what kind of backwards contraption are you driving?
