Racking up the kms

Well, not for this day, but for Reggie...

We passed through Rocquefort looking for some cheese, but not only did we not get cheese, but we didn't see any signs for cheese, any shops for cheese, any cheese makers, nor even any bloody cows! Turns out the Rocquefort is nowhere near this one, despite the navigator's insistence she had looked it up. Sigh.

More beautiful countryside though we have left all the grapes behind. Now it would seem we are in Kiwi country. How ruddy dare they!

We've noticed many MHs carrying dogs, and even one with a cat, but two big labs like this MH would be a bit of a handful even with the garage converted to a kennel.

Destination for today changed a bit. We tried for Bayonne but couldn't find a park so moved to the coast near Biarritz.

Pharo (lighthouse) Biarritz. The resort is past the headland

J dips her toe in the Atlantic for the first time in nearly 2 years.

Anglet, taken from what I am pretty sure is German concrete. I think we might be able to see Spain from here.

Being on the west coast we were hoping for a decent sunset.

And a bit more (probable) German concrete to end the post...
