Oops

Some dumbarse forgot to put the memory card back in the camera after transferring them off for last night's blog. (That dumbarse would be me.) This means there are no shots today except those taken on J's phone.

We drove back to the coast and along to Cap Frehel. It's all very scenic but you'll have to take my word for it won't you?

Then it was a bike-ride to the cape, in to a fort around the corner, then back to our camp. Craggy cliffs, old castles, a lighthouse...

Famous pink granite rocks. It's probably more obvious when wet, but who wants that?

The beach opposite our camp: Plage du Fosse

The (current) lighthouse on the cape.

Azure sea and yellow lichen

Looking rough

The castle. Note the lardy-arses in the golf cart. Ah, well, um, we took the golf-cart back up the hill. (Though at least we got back on our bikes!)

Looking inland

The castle is privately owned and lived in. They've done a very good job on renovation over the last century (multiple generations).

Our camp for the night. The office is closed as is the toilet block, but we expect someone will wake us and ask for money anyway.
