Cannonball Run 1

Our run across France went unremarkably, though we discovered our inverter is faulty, so while we have lots of solar power we can't convert it to 240v to run our appliances. We'll have to get that sorted tout de suite.

We had a huge downpour en route just as J was collecting goodies from the delicatessen, so she got a little damp. Thunder and lightening, but it passed over in an hour.

And there are the goodies

We stopped at a nice old village, Saint Germer de Fly, which had a surprisingly grand abbey and church. It's on the border of Picardie and Normandy and there was obviously money there back in the day.

Next morning we finished our first leg to Dieppe.
