Good money after bad

I got my bike repaired today. I needed whole new wheel, tire and tube which cost more than the bike did originally. We bought some bits an pieces including a raincover to protect the bikes, so that wheel should feel pretty special!

It was just a driving day today, with our stop in a marina at Amal.

These guys had found some convenient trees in a rest stop off the road

Amal doesn't have much special about it but was pleasant enough. Lots of old wooden buildings.

A nice stream winding through the town

And views across the lake

The number of wooden buildings is note-worthy as it marks Sweden out from the rest of Europe. With all those trees it's not surprising of course.
