44 degrees

A late start due to the lack of sleep last night. The drive was unusual for rice paddies, oranges, pineapples and ladies of ill repute. The former were all around Cullera in particular. The latter seem to follow seasonal workers, just like in Italy, and can be found sitting on intersections in farmlands.

Judi wouldn't take photos of the hookers but took this of a strip club which presumably also contains a few.

Rice AND a castle

More rice

A rather high peak that we could see for most of our trip.

Orange trees

We tried to have lunch on a beach but simply couldn't find anywhere to park so ended up eating in a Lidl carpark. Classy. At least they are flat.

Then to our camp outside Valencia. This time its guaranteed not to have pub music, though I've just heard fireworks from Valencia, and as usual there's a barking dog or two. First thing was a swim as we'd been baking all day. 38 deg in Reggie, and a peak of 44 outside. Then a beer. Aaah...
