A longer day today, which still isn't much. We left Roscanvel and headed via Pointe du Raz to Pointe Penmarc'h - all well known to you of course. 😉

This is Vauban's defensive wall across the peninsula. Still a military area today.

Pointe du Raz. We did a flying visit as you only got 30 min free parking.
We didn't make as far as the lighthouse, let alone view the rock formations that attract so many people. |
Telephoto gives it a painted effect |
These rocks at Saint Guenole have some well worn contours and this looks a little like a lizard. |
Rocks line up to frame the sunset on one day of the year - the Ides of September. No, just a coincidence. |
While places have generally had an empty feel to them our stop tonight had 28 other motorhomes in it! Sometimes we can drive or walk through a village and see no-one: it can be like a post-apocalyptic movie. Maybe the end of days will just see people motorhoming aimlessly around the world until they run out of diesel?
Our Vodafone internet ran out today - only half-way through the month. We haven't managed to find anything to accurately monitor where the use is, but we have worked around it by buying some French internet that should get us through this month and back onto Vodafone again next month. Thankfully the change-over went smoothly. Imagine how bad dealing with a Vodafone equivalent would be if they only spoke French!
