The end of the beginning?

With a glimmer of hope that borders may reopen in a month or two, it was time to look out for Reggie again. First, he was labelled:

Then we had the habitation check which was passed with flying colours. Finally, the MoT (WoF for Kiwi readers),which was an ouch moment. Two new ball-joints and it seems that somewhen in those 10k ks we had lost an important part of our undercarriage! Somewhere on a road in Scandinavia? Germany? Holland? is a Hymer rear muffler. Anyway, we now have to get that replaced to confirm the MoT which is easier said than done under lock-down.

It does give us a feeling that we might still be able to get away this year which is a bit of a boost.
