Creating a scene

Some fun things to manage last week. First the van got smashed into on Friday. My caretaker wasn't hurt, but had only just taken the assessment to make him a legal driver two days before. Whew. Now we have to pay for taxis to move stuff between the two sites.

On Friday we had a burglary at the school. As we were entertaining the head-teacher and her husband we managed to have the Estate Manager, the Headteacher and the Project Manager on site within 5 minutes of the alarm going off. Not bad that. We didn't catch anyone as they made off over the roof where they had got in. A gutsy move given its height and the snow and ice that had fallen that evening. Stupid too as they left footprints all over which the CSI came and photographed. Also possibly some blood.

Sadly the snow meant hockey was cancelled. I was supposed to also play today but J and I watched the England A side playing Ireland A. Ireland couldn't finish a move and lost 17-13. Only themselves to blame as England weren't great.

On Tuesday I get one of my staff-members back so may be able to spend more time actually doing the management side of my job from next week.

Some more progress on the diorama...
